DISLOCATION OF KNEE CAP
What Is Knee Cap Dislocation ?
The knee cap could dislocate to the outer side of the knee. This is commonly seen in children with lax joints. Many a time it comes back to normal position automatically.
What Is The Treatment For This ?
Using a knee cap stabilizing knee support for 1-2 weeks will help these children. In some children this recurs. They need investigations to see if there are abnormalities of the knee that cannot keep the kneecap in place.
